Review: Hard Candy Fox In a Box

This has been on my To-Buy list for a while! It costs $6 and is only available at Wal-Mart. I bought this cute little box of blush/bronzer in the shade Spicy & Sweet. The box was a little smaller than I expected, here's the box compared to a standard post-it note. Pretty Tiny.

Here's the inside. Pretty colors! You can use them separately (if you have a smaller brush), but I like to swirl them all together. This box of blushes is pretty smooth, with nice pigmentation. It blends semi-well, and I think it works really well for my fair skin. Needless to say, well, quite obviously the brush is poor quality, but what were you expecting? It has a nice magnet closure, so it stays shut and the packaging is pretty sturdy to me, though most reviews claim otherwise.

Final Verdict: I would buy this again

Product Warning: Sally Hansen HD Nail Color

Okay, The Sally Hansen HD Polish colors are gorgeous. Gorgeous! I own Byte and Blu (I had a manufacturer coupon buy one get one half off!). These were certainly not worth it! The polish is extremely water-y and very transparent. It's pretty good top coat, but like I said, it's VERY watery. You can feel it sliding down your nail, even with the thinnest coat. Also, after I managed to apply a coat of Byte over white polish, 20 minutes later I lightly touched my nail and ALL the polish just slid right off. The white and everything! It just 'globbed' off. I've had similar experiences with Blu.

Did I get a bad batch of the polish? Or is it just all the HD polishes? Let me know if you have any of the Sally Hansen HD Polishes!

snowflake nail design

Hey people! I just wanted to post this snowflake nail look I recently did on my nails as one of my December Nail Designs! I used white polish, a toothpick, Brucci Blue Nail Polish and I sponged on a metallic blue silver, and..yeah! It came out pretty nicely, I'd say!

mandee, jordana & cvs haul!

so, today i headed to the mall with my mom to do some returns, and since I had lots of gift cards I decided to spend some...on make up of course! I got a couple of fun things today, and only one item is non beauty! So let's begin!

So that's what I got! Now, first thing I got was $1.09 and it was a Jordana Blush in 32 Rose Silk. It has nice pigmentation and it looks really nice on my skin!

Next, from Mandee I got this Simply Sweet Neon Green liquid liner for $3.00. Definitely not worth it..it's pretty glitter but a tad too sheer for me.

Also from Mandee, I found a polish color I'd been looking for for a loooong time, my favorite color of all... charcoal gray! It's a Beauty Treats: Nail Treats in the color 814 Charcoal. A steal for $3, let's hope it works well!

Next, which is probably one of my fave purchases of the day was another Jordana semi-permanent liquid eyeliner. I have black and glitter, which I love but I found this royal blue Always Blue 02 for $1.09! These things are amaaazing!

Here's a not-very-good swatch. See that pigmentation! Squee!

Next was this suuuper dupe of Too Faced Natural Eye Kit.
It was only $7 at Mandee! I looked through a bunch to find one that didn't have broken shadows..and when I went to open mine up my nail went right into the prettiest color, therefore smooshing it D:. Ah, well. This kit is 1/4 the price of the Too Faced kit and looks very similar! I'm pleased to say all the colors are really well pigmented except the chocolate brown, second row all the way to the right is really really lightly pigmented. This was a great steal!

Here is a pic of the inside:

You can also see the color I smashed..oops...and to the right is the photo of the actual too faced natural eye kit, which I found from this post

I also purchased a Simply Sweet all over glitter palette. It was $5 and has golds/bronzes. It's okay, I guess. It's basically glitter. Not really much pigmentation, I thought it'd be creamy, but it's powdery.

Then, my mom bought me a hello kitty pez for $1.50 at CVS (Yum!)

Oh! I almost forgot. I bought a Claire's Nail polish, a good dupe of Deborah Lippmann Happy Birthday! It was cheap, too! I didn't take a photo but there are some good ones here!

That's it for now! xoxo Paige

product that lives up to the hype: eos lip balm

eos lip balm SPF 15: lemon drop
after much waiting, i got this adorable lip balm for christmas. I think it was around $4. I got the flavor lemon drop. Now, this lip balm is so cute, so tiny, such unique packaging..It's also really light and moisturizing. I only wish I had gotten a different flavor. The lemon smell is a bit nauseating.. But aside from that I love it! It's certainly lived up to the hype.

overall: i want to buy more! maybe all the flavors

product that didn't live up to the hype: Maybelline Baby Lips

Maybelline Baby Lips SPF 20 Moisturizing Lip Balm

It claims to moisturize your lips in just 4 weeks! I bought the color Pink Punch.
Now, this cost me about.. $4 at CVS? I think I had a coupon. Pink Punch is surprisingly VERY pigmented. Bright. Pink. It also has a really strong strong artificial fruit punch scent, which is okay. The packaging is gorgeous and unique, but after hearing so many raves and reviews.. this did not live up to the hype. After applying it multiple times per day, generously for 4 weeks...my lips felt about the same...but if you are looking for a lip tint with pretty packaging...go for it!

Overall, I would not re-purchase.

best liquid eyeliner ever

Jordana Semi-Permanent Liquid Eyeliner in Endless Black

You can buy online at jordanacosmetics.com, but I bought mine for $1 from a local discount store. It lasts a long time, can be removed when you want (ie: doesn't like, stain your face), and the brush is really nice. Love this eyeliner!
